Spring Airlines Implements 'Four Avoids' Strategy to Stay Competitive
Spring Airlines has adopted a 'four avoids' strategy to navigate China's competitive aviation market. The strategy includes avoiding competition with high-speed rail, diversified investments, widebody aircraft, and operational waste. The airline focuses on medium-haul routes to remain competitive against rail and operates an all-Airbus A320-family fleet. Spring Airlines reported a net profit of CNY2.3 billion for 2025, with plans to expand its fleet to 200 aircraft within five years.
