Survey Highlights Summer Challenges for Healthy Habits in New York
A recent survey conducted by Talker Research for Factor reveals that summer poses significant challenges for maintaining healthy habits, particularly in New York, New Jersey, and Delaware. The survey, which included 5,000 Americans evenly split by state, found that 37% of New Yorkers believe summer is the easiest season to fall off track with health goals. While 78% of Americans aim to prioritize nutrition during the summer, only half manage to follow through. The survey also highlighted that 92% of respondents feel they enter 'summer mode' before the season officially begins, with May 21 being considered the 'real' start of summer by many. However, balancing packed schedules and energy-draining activities often leads to difficulties in maintaining consistent health routines.
