Avnet Survey Highlights Accelerated AI Adoption by APAC Engineers
Avnet's fifth annual Avnet Insights survey reveals a significant increase in the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across the Asia-Pacific region. The survey, which tracks global trends in AI integration, indicates that 77% of engineers globally are experiencing improved market conditions for their AI-enhanced products. In the APAC region, China is leading in large-scale AI deployment, while Japan focuses on reliability and long product lifecycles. The survey highlights that more than half of engineers globally are now shipping products with AI, marking a 33% increase from the previous year. Key AI applications include process automation, predictive maintenance, and fault detection. The survey underscores the shift from AI experimentation to industrial-scale deployment, particularly in the ASEAN manufacturing corridor.
