Audit Confirms Imperial Irrigation District's Responsible Management of Public Resources
The Imperial Irrigation District (IID) has received a clean audit opinion from an independent consultant, confirming its responsible management of public resources. The audit, covering the financial year ending December 31, 2025, found no deficiencies or concerns, highlighting IID's stability and accountability. IID Board Chair Karin Eugenio emphasized the importance of the audit in assuring customers of the district's adherence to policy and financial management. The report noted IID's positive operating results, efficient revenue and expense management, and prudent financial reserves, which support its ability to meet current and long-term service demands.
