DuPage County Forest Preserve District Appoints New Executive Director Amid Scholarship Announcements
The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County has appointed Anamari Golf Dorgan as its new executive director. Dorgan, who has served as the district's director of community engagement since 2017, will succeed Karie Friling. In her previous role, Dorgan managed education centers and communications for the district. She brings extensive experience from her leadership roles at the Rock County Historical Society, The Morton Arboretum, and The Field Museum. Additionally, several Naperville-area students have been awarded National Merit Scholarships, providing financial support for their undergraduate studies. The scholarships, funded by U.S. colleges and universities, are awarded to a select group of high school seniors based on academic achievement.
