Two Teenagers Arrested in Connection with Fourth of July Violence in Raleigh
Raleigh police have arrested two more teenagers in connection with the shootings and violence that occurred on the Fourth of July in the Glenwood South and Brier Creek areas. One 17-year-old was taken into custody with assistance from the Burlington Police Department, facing charges including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a firearm into an occupied property, riot, and possession of a firearm. Additionally, U.S. marshals arrested a 15-year-old in Staten Island, New York, who is charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury, felony riot, discharging a firearm into occupied property, and possession of a firearm by a minor. This 15-year-old is currently held in a juvenile facility in New York awaiting transfer to North Carolina.
