Actress Wenne Alton Davis Fatally Struck by Car in New York City
Wenne Alton Davis, an actress known for her role in 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,' was tragically killed in a car accident in Manhattan. The incident occurred on Monday evening when Davis was crossing West 53rd Street near Broadway. A Cadillac, driven by a 61-year-old man, struck her while making a left turn. Davis, who had the right of way, suffered severe head injuries and was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she later died. The driver remained at the scene and has not been charged. Davis, originally from Durham, North Carolina, had embraced New York as her home and was building a promising acting career with credits in shows like 'Blindspot' and 'New Amsterdam.'
