Man Drowns in Colorado River While Attempting to Retrieve Hat
Kristopher Nathaniel Logan, a 26-year-old man from San Marcos, California, drowned in the Colorado River near Davis Camp, Arizona, on April 13, 2026. Logan was on a pontoon boat with friends when he attempted to retrieve a hat that had blown off. He fell into the water and did not resurface. The Bullhead City Fire Department dive team recovered his body, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Logan was not wearing a life jacket at the time of the incident, which authorities have deemed an accidental drowning.
