Young Kim Leads Bipartisan Delegation to Strengthen U.S. Alliances in Asia
Representative Young Kim has led a bipartisan delegation to South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan with the aim of reinforcing alliances and discussing critical issues such as security and supply chains. The delegation included Representatives Suhas Subramanyam, Randy Feenstra, and Michael Cloud. During their visit, the lawmakers engaged with officials and industry leaders, focusing on topics like the DMZ, U.S. military leadership, shipbuilding, semiconductors, critical minerals, export controls, and Taiwan's self-defense. Kim emphasized that America's alliances are a strategic advantage and highlighted the importance of standing with regional partners to deter aggression and maintain a free and open Indo-Pacific.
