Israeli Defense Firms Showcase Advanced Systems at Farnborough Airshow Amid Rising Military Budgets
The Farnborough International Airshow commenced with significant participation from Israeli defense companies, including Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. IAI introduced its ELLYON multi-role aircraft, which integrates electronic attack capabilities and advanced intelligence systems. Rafael displayed its Iron Beam high-energy laser air defense system and the Iron Dome, known for intercepting various aerial threats. The event highlighted the increasing demand for defense technologies due to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine. Elbit Systems also showcased its contributions to the British Armed Forces, including electronic warfare technologies and uncrewed aerial systems.
