Nintendo Offers Free Repairs and Donates to Red Cross After Kumamoto Earthquake
In response to the recent 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Kumamoto, Japan, Nintendo has announced that it will provide free repairs for Nintendo products damaged in the disaster. This service is available to individuals in areas designated under the Disaster Relief Act until February 1, 2027. Additionally, Nintendo is donating 50 million yen to the Japanese Red Cross to aid in recovery efforts. The earthquake caused significant damage and loss of life, prompting various organizations to contribute to relief efforts.
