Vietnamese Government Implements Six Solutions to Boost Business Efficiency
The Vietnamese government has outlined six key solutions to enhance the efficiency of businesses, as detailed in Announcement No. 394/TB-VPCP. By the end of June 2026, Vietnam had over one million operating businesses contributing significantly to the GDP and employment. However, the government identified several limitations, including inefficiencies in state-owned enterprises, small-scale private enterprises, and weak linkages between FDI enterprises and the domestic sector. To address these issues, the government plans to improve institutions, reform administrative procedures, and unlock capital and land resources. Additionally, they aim to cut unnecessary costs, promote trade, and encourage innovation and digital transformation.
