Raines and Vantage Realty Partners to Transform Historic Rose Hill Estate into Boutique Hotel by 2027
Raines and Vantage Realty Partners have announced their plans to restore the historic Rose Hill Estate in Aiken, South Carolina, into a boutique hotel, with the project expected to be completed by late 2027. The estate, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, will undergo significant rehabilitation to include a hotel, food and beverage services, private event spaces, and public gardens. The project aims to preserve the estate's historical significance while modernizing its facilities for both residents and visitors. The main mansion, historic stables, and auxiliary buildings are set within formal gardens, reflecting Aiken's identity as a Winter Colony sporting retreat. The development will also feature collaborations with local artists and the Aiken Center for the Arts, enhancing the cultural offerings of the estate.
