Kentucky Launches 10th EV Charging Station to Combat Range Anxiety
Kentucky has launched its 10th electric vehicle (EV) charging station, located at 4455 Russellville Rd. off Interstate 165. This new hub features four charging ports capable of up to 400 kW and is part of a broader effort to expand the state's EV infrastructure. The initiative aims to reduce range anxiety for EV drivers by ensuring charging stations are available every 30 miles along major travel corridors. The expansion is supported by $17.8 million in resecured funds from the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program, following a lawsuit challenging a federal funding freeze.
