Pittsburgh Attorney Charged in Penn State Fraternity Drug Ring, Law Firm Clarifies Non-Involvement
A Pittsburgh attorney, Paul Robinson, has been charged in connection with a cocaine trafficking operation involving Penn State University students, including his son. The Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced that Robinson is accused of tampering with evidence, concealing evidence, and obstructing the investigation into the drug ring, which allegedly operated primarily out of two fraternity houses in 2023 and 2024. Robinson was the only non-student among the 14 individuals charged. His law firm, Meyer, Darragh, Buckler, Bebenek & Eck, PLLC, issued a statement clarifying that the allegations concern Mr. Robinson individually and do not involve the firm, its clients, or the legal services it provides. The firm stated it is reviewing the circumstances but will not comment further due to ongoing criminal proceedings. Robinson's son, Thomas Robinson, is alleged to be one of the main suppliers in the operation.
