International Conference to Address Fatigue's Impact on Workers
The Western Australian Centre for Road Safety Research at The University of Western Australia is hosting the 11th International Conference on Managing Fatigue from August 11 to 13. The event will focus on the impact of fatigue on human performance, particularly in transportation, but also in sectors like natural resources, mining, healthcare, and the military. The conference will feature sessions on industry, human performance, health, biology, shiftwork, and road safety. Keynote speakers include experts like Dr. Mark Rosekind and Dr. Erin Flynn-Evans, who will discuss topics ranging from driving performance to fatigue-related crashes and sleep disorders.
