Family Seeks Justice 25 Years After Sbarro Bombing
The family of Malki Roth, a victim of the 2001 Sbarro pizzeria bombing in Jerusalem, continues to seek justice 25 years after the attack. The bombing, orchestrated by Ahlam Tamimi, resulted in the deaths of 15 people, including Roth. Tamimi was released in a 2011 prisoner exchange deal under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which has been criticized by the victims' families. The Roth family has been vocal about their disapproval of the deal and continues to push for Tamimi's extradition to the United States, where she faces charges related to the attack.
