Hollywood's Toyota Dealership Transforms into Mixed-Use Development with 35-Story Tower
The site of the former Toyota of Hollywood dealership is set to undergo a significant transformation into a mixed-use development. This project, located at 6000 Hollywood Boulevard, will feature a 35-story tower and include 350 apartments, 44 of which will be affordable housing units. Additionally, the development will offer 136,000 square feet of office space and 22,500 square feet of retail space. The project also plans to incorporate 23,500 square feet of publicly accessible open space. This redevelopment marks a shift from the site's previous use as a car dealership to a more urban, pedestrian-friendly environment. The Los Angeles City Council finalized approvals for the project in March 2026, following a series of approvals from various city planning bodies.
