Brooklyn's Linden Boulevard to Undergo Safety and Transit Improvements
Brooklyn's Linden Boulevard, known for its high traffic-related injuries, is set to receive significant safety upgrades. The New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) will install center-running bus lanes and pedestrian islands to improve safety and transit efficiency. The redesign aims to address the corridor's dangerous conditions, which have resulted in numerous injuries and fatalities. The project will also enhance bus service, connecting riders to multiple subway lines and improving overall transit connectivity.
