Salvation Army of Meridian Welcomes New Officer, Major Holly Needham, to Lead Community Mission
The Salvation Army of Meridian has officially welcomed Major Holly Needham as its new officer. A reception was held on Thursday to introduce Major Needham to the community. In her new role, Major Needham expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people of Meridian and continue the organization's mission. She emphasized her commitment to listening, learning, and collaborating with donors, community partners, staff, and volunteers to address community needs and share hope. Major Needham was commissioned as a Salvation Army officer in June 2002, beginning her service in Charleston, West Virginia. She arrives in Meridian from Atlanta, Georgia. Her background includes various roles within The Salvation Army, such as Corps Officer in multiple cities, Assistant Divisional Youth Secretary in two divisions, and Assistant Family Life Center Director at the College for Officer Training.
