Prince Harry Faces Libel Suit from Sentebale Charity Over Alleged Media Campaign
Prince Harry, co-founder of the Sentebale charity, is facing a defamation lawsuit filed by the organization in the UK. Sentebale, established in 2006 to combat HIV/AIDS in Lesotho and Botswana, has accused Harry and former trustee Mark Dyer of orchestrating a media campaign that led to cyber-bullying against the charity and its leadership. The lawsuit follows Harry's departure from the charity in March 2025 amid disputes with board chair Dr. Sophie Chandauka. Allegations of poor governance, abuse of power, and harassment have surfaced, further complicating the situation. Sentebale claims the adverse media campaign has caused operational disruption and reputational harm, prompting legal action in London's High Court.
