Texas A University System Names Dr. Susan Ballabina as Sole Finalist for President Role
The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents has announced Dr. Susan Ballabina as the sole finalist for the position of president at Texas A&M University. Dr. Ballabina, who currently serves as the Executive Vice Chancellor of the Texas A&M University System, has been with the institution for over three decades. Her career includes roles such as Chief of Staff to the president and Senior Vice President for Academic and Strategic Collaborations. She has been instrumental in initiatives like Healthy Texas and has played a significant role in disaster recovery efforts, including the Governor’s Commission to Rebuild Texas after Hurricane Harvey. The Board of Regents conducted a national search, and Dr. Ballabina was selected based on her extensive leadership experience and deep understanding of the university.
