Parenting Influencer Kelly Hopton-Jones Accidentally Runs Over Son, Resulting in Hospitalization
Kelly Hopton-Jones, a parenting influencer, shared a distressing incident on social media where she accidentally ran over her 23-month-old son, Henry, with her car. The accident occurred as she was leaving to drive her daughter to a dance performance. Henry darted out of the garage and was hit by the car. Despite the severity of the situation, X-rays showed no head injury, but Henry sustained fractures to his pelvis and some abrasions. Hopton-Jones described the event as the 'worst day of our lives' and expressed gratitude that her son wasn't more seriously injured. The influencer, who has a significant following on Instagram, reflected on the incident, acknowledging the unpredictability of accidents and the difficulty of dealing with 'what ifs.'
