Angel City Press Celebrates L.A. Central Library Centennial with Children's Book Release
Angel City Press, in collaboration with the Los Angeles Public Library, is commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Los Angeles Central Library with the release of two children's books. The titles, 'L Is for Librarian: The ABCs of Los Angeles Central Library' and 'Los Angeles Central Library POPS: Celebrating a Century of the Light of Learning,' aim to honor the library's historical significance and architectural beauty. The library, which was rebuilt after a devastating fire in 1986, has been a cultural touchstone in Southern California. The books are part of a festival celebrating the library's centennial, featuring contributions from children's author Susan Lendroth and illustrator Alexander Vidal.
