This weather pattern is part of an active spring season that has already brought significant rainfall to the region, with San Antonio recording 9.44 inches of rain since April 1, the highest in over 60 years. Houston has also seen substantial rainfall, with 9.02 inches recorded, nearly double its average for this period.
