UH Alumni-Owned Businesses Showcase Local Products at Sold-Out Waikiki Event
The University of Hawaii Alumni Makers’ Market, held at The Royal Hawaiian Hotel, successfully sold out for the second consecutive year. The event featured dozens of small businesses owned by UH alumni, offering a variety of food, drinks, and retail items. Approximately 500 attendees participated in the event, which was organized by the UH Office of Alumni Relations in partnership with the UH Alumni Association. Governor Josh Green, who attended with his wife, a UH law school graduate, emphasized the importance of supporting UH as a key economic driver for the state. Proceeds from the event will benefit students across the 10-campus UH system.
