Texas A University Joins Genesis Mission to Advance Science with AI
Texas A&M University has joined the Genesis Mission, a national initiative led by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) aimed at transforming scientific research through artificial intelligence (AI). The mission seeks to create a powerful integrated science discovery platform by combining AI, supercomputing, quantum systems, and advanced scientific instruments. Texas A&M's involvement includes four selected projects focusing on areas such as biomining of critical minerals, nuclear technologies, and particle accelerators. The initiative aims to address major national challenges in energy, scientific discovery, and national security by leveraging interdisciplinary collaboration among academia, government, and industry.
