Former Waterford Elementary School Custodian Admits to Recording in Faculty Bathroom
Skyler Moore, a former custodian at Waterford Elementary School in Waterford Township, New Jersey, has admitted to placing a cell phone in a faculty bathroom to record an adult victim. The incident occurred on August 14, when the victim, an employee of a summer program at the school, discovered a phone disguised with a towel and cleaning supplies actively recording. Staff members were notified, and police were called, leading to Moore's arrest. He has been charged with invasion of privacy and tampering with evidence. Moore stated to Action News that he did not intend to distribute the recordings and acknowledged his actions were disturbing. Court documents indicate Moore told police he was attracted to the victim and intentionally placed the phone to record her. The school district superintendent confirmed Moore's termination from his position. Authorities believe this is an isolated incident, and no juveniles or students were recorded or victimized. Moore is scheduled to appear in court next month.
