Serious Collision in Mentor Leads to Woman's Airlift to Hospital
A serious two-vehicle collision occurred in Mentor, Ohio, involving a Freightliner semi-tractor trailer and a Mazda 6. The accident took place on Tyler Boulevard when the semi, traveling westbound, collided with the Mazda as it was exiting a private drive. The driver of the Mazda, a 35-year-old woman from Painesville, was ejected from her vehicle and sustained serious injuries. She was airlifted to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the semi was not injured. The Mentor Police Department's Accident Investigative Unit is currently investigating the incident, and no further details have been released.
