DirecTV Launches Streaming on Meta Quest VR Headsets
DirecTV has announced the availability of its streaming service on Meta Quest VR headsets, allowing users to watch live TV and on-demand content in a virtual reality environment. The app is accessible through the Meta Horizon Store or Horizon TV for Meta Quest models 2, 3, 3S, and Pro. While access to ad-supported channels is free for Meta Quest users, a paid DirecTV subscription is required for live sports, TV shows, and movies. This move positions DirecTV as the first multichannel video programming distributor to offer such a service in the VR space.
