Inditex Invests 6.5 Million Euros in Amazon Rainforest Protection Initiative
Inditex, the parent company of brands like Zara, has committed 6.5 million euros to a partnership with Conservation International aimed at protecting the Amazon rainforest. This three-year initiative will fund the creation and management of protected areas across six countries, including Brazil and Colombia. The project seeks to safeguard over two million hectares of rainforest, addressing critical deforestation thresholds that threaten global climate and biodiversity.
