Auburn University Approves Jordan-Hare Stadium North Project to Enhance Campus and Athletic Experience
The Auburn Board of Trustees has approved the Jordan-Hare Stadium North Project, marking a significant development in Auburn University's campus and athletic facilities. Scheduled to begin construction in the summer of 2026 and complete by spring 2029, this project is the largest capital endeavor in Auburn Athletics history. It aims to enhance both the student experience and football gamedays through a multi-use design. The project will introduce over 3,000 new premium seating options, expand dining facilities with Shug’s Food Hall, and provide versatile conference and event spaces. The initiative is a collaboration between Auburn Athletics and the Division of Student Affairs, reflecting a commitment to creating spaces that support learning and community engagement. The project will also improve stadium-wide facilities, including new entry gates, concession points, elevators, and restroom fixtures, enhancing the overall gameday experience.
