ASEAN Forum Explores Aging and Self-Actualization in Prime Generations
The Hakuhodo Institute of Life and Living ASEAN held the 'ASEAN Sei-katsu-sha Studies 2026' Forum in Bangkok, focusing on the attitudes and behaviors of the ASEAN sei-katsu-sha. The study, 'Decoding the Prime Generations,' examines how the region is redefining aging and self-fulfillment. Traditionally centered on younger audiences, the ASEAN region is experiencing a demographic shift with increasing influence from middle-aged and senior generations. The study challenges myths about aging, self-actualization, and ideal life, revealing that these generations are tech-savvy and actively contributing to the economy.
