Chinese DF-15A Ballistic Missile Debris Found in Yemen, Saudi Arabia Suspected of Launch
Debris from a Chinese DF-15A ballistic missile has been discovered in the Ragwan area of Marib province in northern Yemen. OSINT analyst Babak Taghvaee identified the components as belonging to a DF-15A, a Chinese mobile, single-stage, solid-fuel short-range ballistic missile. Photos and videos circulating online show a large section of the missile's body, resembling a booster, with DF-15A markings. Taghvaee reported that the missile may have been launched by the Royal Saudi Strategic Missile Force against Houthi targets, but malfunctioned in flight and fell before reaching its intended destination. If confirmed, this would mark the first known combat use of this specific missile type by Saudi Arabia.
