Tops Friendly Markets Enables SNAP Users to Access Grocery Delivery via DoorDash
Tops Friendly Markets has announced that customers can now use their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to purchase groceries for delivery through DoorDash. This new service allows SNAP users to shop for eligible grocery items from Tops using the DoorDash app and pay with their Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards. While non-eligible items, taxes, service fees, and tips must be paid using another payment method within the app, this initiative aims to make grocery shopping more accessible for low-income families. Tops operates 151 grocery stores across New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont, and this partnership with DoorDash expands their service offerings to include on-demand grocery delivery.
