At the 5G-A Industry Evolution Summit in Shanghai, discussions highlighted the need for mobile networks to evolve beyond speed and capacity, focusing on low latency and uplink efficiency to support real-time AI operations. This shift is necessary to accommodate the growing demand for AI applications that require rapid data processing and response times. The industry is also exploring new business models, such as token-based monetization, to capitalize on the increased network demands posed by AI technologies.
