Joseph Tomei, Gurnee Community Leader, Passes Away at 92
Joseph L. Tomei, a beloved figure in Gurnee, Illinois, passed away at the age of 92. Born in Highland Park, Illinois, Tomei was a University of Illinois graduate and co-owner of Tomei Insurance Agency, a staple in the Gurnee community for nearly fifty years. He was known for his passion for life, love of traveling, golf, and home projects. Tomei is remembered by his family and friends for his leadership and dedication to his community. Visitation services will be held at Warren Cemetery & Funeral Home in Gurnee.
