Congresswoman Summer Lee Celebrates Community Investment with Mon Valley Initiative
Congresswoman Summer Lee participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of a rehabilitation project at 3 Miller Ave in Rankin, Pennsylvania. The project, led by the Mon Valley Initiative (MVI) and supported by Allegheny County Economic Development (ACED), transformed a vacant property into a home for a new family. The initiative is part of a broader effort to revitalize the area by renovating and building homes, with 3 Miller Ave being the latest $340,000 investment. The project aims to provide affordable housing and stimulate local economic growth. The renovation was funded through ACED’s HOME Investment Partnerships Program, which supports the redevelopment of underused properties.
