Lara Crouch Parker Rejoins CSIS as Senior Associate in Geopolitics
Lara Crouch Parker has rejoined the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) as a senior associate in the Geopolitics and Foreign Policy Department. With over 15 years of experience in U.S. strategy in Asia, Parker has held significant roles in the U.S. government, private sector, and research community. Her previous positions include director of Southeast Asia on the National Security Council and senior professional staff member on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Parker's expertise in Asia strategy, particularly regarding China and Taiwan, has been instrumental in shaping U.S. foreign policy. She is currently the director of U.S. Policy Practice at Garnaut Global.
