The closure leaves Argentina reliant on imports from countries like China, Brazil, and Colombia. This development follows the Argentine government's decision to suspend antidumping duties on these imports for six months to prevent supply issues. The closure is part of a broader decline in Argentina's industrial activity, with many companies experiencing reduced production and competitiveness.
