International Rescue Committee Expands AI EdTech Initiatives for Crisis-Affected Education
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is advancing its efforts in education technology by appointing a Technical Lead for AI EdTech in Emergencies. This role is part of the IRC's collaboration with the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE), a global network dedicated to ensuring quality education in crisis situations. The Technical Lead will focus on developing a Quality Assurance Facility for AI EdTech, aimed at adapting educational technologies to meet the needs of crisis-affected populations. The initiative seeks to define benchmarks and conduct rapid evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of AI EdTech solutions in emergencies. The IRC, founded in 1933, operates in over 40 countries and 29 U.S. cities, providing humanitarian aid and support to communities affected by conflict and disaster.
