Telangana Launches Self-Enumeration for Census 2027 to Enhance Data Accuracy
The self-enumeration process for Census 2027 has officially commenced in Telangana, with Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla inaugurating the initiative by completing his details online. This marks a significant step towards digital participation in the national population count. The online system is designed to improve accuracy, speed, and convenience for citizens. Director of Census Operations Bharati Hollikeri and GHMC Commissioner R. V. Karnan were present at the launch event. The self-enumeration allows residents to submit household and personal details online, reducing paperwork and saving time for both citizens and census staff.
