Deezer Python GraphQL Library Offers Unofficial API Access for Developers
An unofficial Python library, `deezer-python-gql`, has been developed to interact with Deezer's GraphQL-based API. This library provides developers with a typed Python client, built using `ariadne-codegen`, which generates client methods and response models directly from the GraphQL schema and query files. The library facilitates various content retrieval operations, including fetching details for tracks, albums, artists, playlists, livestreams, podcasts, and audiobooks. It also supports search and discovery functionalities, such as unified search, recommendations, and charts. Furthermore, `deezer-python-gql` enables library and favorites management, allowing users to interact with their favorite artists, albums, tracks, and playlists. The library also includes mutations for managing favorites, banning tracks or artists from recommendations, controlling Flow settings, and managing playlists and podcast episodes. It also supports Music Together features for collaborative playlists.
