North Charleston Police Arrest Man for Threats and Property Damage at Wells Fargo
Christopher Lee Williams, 44, has been arrested by the North Charleston Police Department following an incident at a Wells Fargo branch on Dorchester Road. According to a bank manager, Williams, who was known to the staff, had been in the lobby for an extended period. When asked to leave, he allegedly became belligerent and threatened employees, stating, “I am going to shoot y’all. I’m going to blow this place up,” while making a hand gesture resembling a handgun. Following this, Williams reportedly approached an employee’s vehicle and repeatedly slammed his hands on it, causing two visible dents on the trunk. The vehicle owner confirmed the damage was new. Williams was later located at a nearby business and booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center, facing charges of malicious injury to property and aggravated breach of peace.
