Albania Sees Surge in Border Crossings with Over 1.7 Million Travelers in July
Albania experienced a significant increase in border crossings during July, with over 1.7 million travelers entering the country. This surge is attributed to the peak summer tourist season. The country's main border crossing points, including Morina with Kosovo and Kapshtica with Greece, handled substantial traffic, processing thousands of travelers and vehicles daily. The Albanian customs authorities maintained 24/7 operations to manage the influx efficiently. Finance Minister Petrit Malaj highlighted the efforts of customs officers in providing fast services to citizens and visitors.
