Manhunt in Tacoma After Suspect Flees Officer-Involved Shooting
A manhunt is underway in Tacoma, Washington, after a suspect fled from an officer-involved shooting. The suspect, identified as Skyler Cantrell, was found by deputies slumped over in a vehicle and is wanted on multiple felony warrants, including second-degree assault. During the encounter, Cantrell allegedly attempted to escape by ramming vehicles and driving at a deputy, prompting shots to be fired. Cantrell's vehicle was later found crashed and abandoned, and he reportedly sought help from nearby residents while injured. Authorities are conducting an extensive search using drones and a K9 unit, urging residents to secure their homes and report any sightings.
