Report Reveals Over Half of AAPI New Yorkers Consider Leaving Due to Rising Costs
A new report from The Asian American Foundation (TAAF) reveals that more than half of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) New Yorkers have considered leaving the city due to rising living costs. The study highlights economic insecurity, safety concerns, and language barriers as significant challenges faced by the AAPI community. The report, part of TAAF's 'State of AAPIs' research series, includes data from 1,400 AAPI adults and interviews with community leaders. It aims to provide insights into the experiences of AAPI residents and guide initiatives to address these challenges.
