Belgium to Install 2,926 New Public EV Chargers to Boost Infrastructure
Belgium has announced plans to install 2,926 new public electric vehicle (EV) chargers over the next two years, significantly expanding its EV infrastructure. These chargers will primarily be curbside 'Level 2' units, capable of delivering approximately 35 miles of range per hour of charging. This initiative is part of a broader global trend towards increasing public EV charging options, which supports the growing adoption of electric vehicles. Similar efforts are underway in other countries, including the UK and Canada, where thousands of new chargers are planned.
