Vietnam's Tourism Sector Sees 11% Increase in International Arrivals, Boosting Market Resilience
Vietnam experienced an 11.1% increase in international air arrivals in March 2026 compared to the same month in 2025, according to Amadeus Travel Intelligence. This growth is attributed to both traditional and emerging markets, indicating a diversification in Vietnam's tourist base. South Korea remains the largest source of international visitors, despite a slight decline in arrivals. Other Asian markets, such as the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Singapore, showed significant growth. Long-haul markets like Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom also contributed to the increase, with the UK seeing a 21.5% rise in arrivals. However, not all European markets followed this trend, as arrivals from France decreased.
