Unlimited Systems Data Breach Exposes Patient Health Information, Potential Class Action Investigated
Edelson Lechtzin LLP, a national class action law firm, is investigating a data breach involving Unlimited Technology Systems, LLC, a healthcare software and revenue cycle management company. The breach, disclosed to the Iowa Attorney General's Office on July 1, 2026, involved unauthorized access to files containing personal and health information of patients using Unlimited's practice management software. The breach occurred between October 5 and October 10, 2025, and may have compromised personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI), including names, Social Security numbers, and medical records.
